BLOG TOUR TIME! - Q & A with Kathryn R. Biel, author of Completions and Connections

On this rather warm Friday morning in Upstate New York, I have the pleasure of chatting with Kathryn Biel, the Author of Completions and Connections!
If you haven't had the chance to read this fun holiday short story, then you should!  It's a perfect holiday read!
Thank you for taking the time to stop by One Book at a time today!

Kathryn, I want to begin by saying, what a fun Christmas story to get the season going, do you have plans to continue Christine and Patrick's budding romance in an upcoming book?

Sort of, sort of not. While writing this, I began to think about Michele and what’s going on in her life. She’s going to get her own book, so you’ll find out what happens with Christine and Patrick then.
-I can't wait to hear more about this!

What tradition are you most looking forward to this holiday season?

My mom, brother, and I go out Black Friday shopping. We go out about 5 am. I get my first peppermint mocha of the season then. By about 10 am, we’re ready for our second meal of the day. I usually get ice cream.
-WOW, that sounds like a blast!  Believe it or not my 11 year old son Alexander loves to go black Friday shopping with me and has been 2 years straight!

Do you have a new book you are currently writing?  Any details to share with your fans?
I was working on a book when the need to write Completions and Connections took over. I’m getting back to it and hope to finish it by Christmas. It’s a dramatic story where two broken people try to make each other whole again.
-Sounds amazing!

When you aren't writing, what do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Free time? I’m unfamiliar with that concept. I work full time as a school-based physical therapist. My kids and husband keep me busy. I do carve out a few hours a week for dance class. I’ve been with the same studio since I was five. They are my second family.
- I used to dance!  I have been trying to add Yoga in my free time, but with three kids, work and part-time grad school that isn't happening. LOL.

Lastly, what is your favorite genre to read in your spare time?
It really depends on my mood. I read a lot of chick lit and romance. I like things that are an escape for me.

-I couldn't agree more!
